Secondary teaching
I work with private sector international schools providing specialist subject teaching to secondary or high school level students.
My subject areas of expertise are Business Studies, Economics, Humanities or Social Studies, and English as a second language. For students taking IB, A Level or IGCSE courses.
School trips planning and organisation
I provide comprehensive educational travel solutions, handling every detail from itinerary design to safeguarding and risk assessment. My mission is to create safe, enriching, and unforgettable learning experiences outside the classroom, tailored to your curriculum and your students' needs and preferences.
I encourage a partnership approach with a close working relationship with my main school contact, both during the planning stages and during the trip itself - where my role and responsibilities can include being on hand to ensure the smooth running of the trip, and to potentially save the school valuable teacher resource and less cover.
These are normally arranged as 2, 3 or 4-night residential trips in attractive locations which offer clean and comfortable hostel accommodation, a diverse range of activities, and regular suppliers with a proven track record for reliability, goodwill and value for money.
Private tutoring
I offer private tutoring to students of IGCSE and AS/A Level Business Studies, who are normally studying at international schools using the British system of secondary education, and who require some additional help with their teaching and learning.
I also provide private tuition and support to degree students studying vocational degree courses such as Business Studies, Marketing, International Business and Business Management.
This includes working through the students' knowledge and understanding of the course syllabus, and developing their written skills of business application, analysis and evaluation which are crucial to exam preparation.
Tuition can be arranged one-to-one or with small groups of students learning together.
Personal coaching and mentoring
I have considerable experience of coaching and mentoring colleagues in the workplace and students at school, during my five years of teaching experience in an international school.
Whether it be an adult seeking to overcome the challenges of achieving their workplace aspirations, or a student trying to navigate their way through the complexities of studying and teenage life in general - my coaching and mentoring skills can help them to search for the answers and solutions they seek, to overcome their problems and to achieve their goals.
